VOLUME 2
The Best of Language is a three-volume compilation of the best articles published in the Language, the flagship journal of the Linguistic Society of America. Language has been published continuously since 1925, and in that long history there are a number of influential, controversial, or otherwise interesting articles. Volume 2 contains a select number of articles published from 1956–1985.
