Janet Dean Fodor was born in London on April 12, 1942, the youngest of 3 girls. She received her bachelor’s degree from Oxford University studying philosophy and psychology; her tutor was Iris Murdoch.
It is with profound sadness that we share with you that Dr. Jonathan (Jon) Henner passed away following a battle with cancer.
When the news was announced that West Virginia University was planning sweeping cuts to academic programs, including eliminating the Department of World Languages, Literatures, and Linguistics (WLLL), the Linguistic Society of America moved to action in a variety of ways.
