Organized Sessions for 2023 Annual Meeting Announced

The Program Committee has announced the accepted Organized Session proposals for the 2023 Annual Meeting. The 2023 Organized Sessions are:
- Discourse Analysis and Public Policy
- Linguists’ reflections on responses to the “racial reckoning” of 2020 in U.S. higher education: A collective conversation on lessons learned and next steps
- Microparametric approach to prosodic variation: case studies from Algonquian
- Organizing and Influencing Ideology: Social Semiotic Syntax as an Approach to Human Ideological and Moral Frameworks
- Symposium on the International Decade of Indigenous Languages 2022-2032
- Invitational Presidential Sunlight Symposium: LSA Challenges and Opportunities
- Emerging Perspectives on Historical Change in Signed Languages
- Stress at the phonetics-phonology interface: the special case of default-to-opposite patterns
Special Movie Event
In addition to the above-listed Organized Sessions, there will be a special movie event entitled: "Talking Black in America: Performance"
