The Program Committee has announced the accepted Organized Session proposals for the 2023 Annual Meeting. The 2023 Organized Sessions are:

  • Organizing and Influencing Ideology: Social Semiotic Syntax as an Approach to Human Ideological and Moral Frameworks
  • Symposium on the International Decade of Indigenous Languages 2022-2032
  • Invitational Presidential Sunlight Symposium: LSA Challenges and Opportunities
  • Emerging Perspectives on Historical Change in Signed Languages
  • Stress at the phonetics-phonology interface: the special case of default-to-opposite patterns

Special Movie Event

In addition to the above-listed Organized Sessions, there will be a special movie event entitled: "Talking Black in America: Performance"
